How do I book?
Book a time that suits you online at nicolasbarbershop.nearcut.com, or call 07821 865044.
Where are you?
35 Station Road, Deganwy, LL31 9DF. See the map on the Visit page, or get directions.
What are your hours?
Monday 9–5 · Tuesday 10–7 · Wednesday 9–5 · Thursday 9–6:30 · Friday 9–6:30. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
Are kids / nervous first cuts OK?
Yes. Children’s cuts (0–11) are on the price list. Nicola and Leanne take it slow — no shame if someone’s nervous. We’re for all ages, kids through pensioners, not a kids-only shop.
What if my hair’s grown right out?
Book a restyle (or the right fade/restyle), not a standard tidy-up — same as on Nearcut.
Is there a dog in the shop?
Yes — Maisie is usually here. If you’re not a dog person, we’re not the best fit.
How do I cancel or change an appointment?
Please give at least 12 hours’ notice. Less than that, or a no-show, means the full appointment fee is due. If that fee isn’t paid, the account is blocked for future bookings. Cancel or reschedule online in your Nearcut account if it’s more than 12 hours away, or phone 07821 865044. See the policy page.
How do I rebook?

Do you take walk-ins?
We encourage booking online so you’ve got a time. If a chair’s free we’ll take a walk-in — we don’t run a waiting list in the shop.
Do you rent chairs?
We’ve got chair capacity through the week for a self-employed barber. Weekend days are possible too if that suits you. See Join our team, or contact Nicola on 07821 865044.
Where can I park?
There’s on-street parking nearby for up to 90 minutes (spaces are limited). The train station car park is paid, with two free slots.
Is there step-free access?
Yes — a ramp is available on request. Call ahead if you need it so we can have it ready.
How can I pay?
Card (including Amex) or cash.
Do you cut women’s hair?
We’re a barbershop, not a hair salon — but you’re welcome if you want a shorter, barber-style cut.
I’m running late — can you still fit me in?
We’ll try. A few minutes is usually fine. We can’t hold the chair too long though, or it knocks on other people’s bookings. If you’re going to be late, give us a quick call on 07821 865044.
When is your busiest time of day?
Most days get busier from lunchtime onwards. We can book out ahead at peak times, so the safest bet is to book online.
